Security features vary between models, with some offering lockable or padlock-ready doors and other features for extra security. Check the individual product specifications for details.

Yes, provided you choose a model with sufficient space. As well as bicycles, a bike shed can be useful for storing items such as helmets, pumps, locks and other cycling accessories. If you want additional storage alongside your bikes, check the internal dimensions before choosing your shed.

The capacity will depend on the size of the bike shed and your bicycles. Many of our larger bike storage sheds have enough space for multiple bikes, with some suitable for a typical family setup such as two adult bikes and two children’s bikes. Bike dimensions can vary considerably, so be sure to measure your bicycles and compare them with the internal dimensions and door opening shown on each individual product page before ordering.

Wooden bike sheds may require periodic treatment with a suitable wood preservative to help protect the timber and maintain its appearance. Requirements vary depending on how the timber has been supplied, so always follow the care and maintenance instructions provided with your chosen bike shed.

Both wooden and metal bike sheds can provide practical outdoor bicycle storage, with the best choice depending on your priorities. Wooden bike sheds offer a traditional appearance that complements other timber garden buildings, while a metal bike shed can provide a durable, low-maintenance alternative. Size, access and security features also vary between models, so compare the individual product specifications when choosing.
