The Hartwood Life Time 6' x 8' Overlap Pressure Treated Apex Shed s an excellent storage solution. The reverse apex roof makes it ideal for positioning against a wall and allows the interior space to be used to its greatest storage potential. This wooden shed comes with an improved design, featuring fully modular panels. This means it’s delivered in smaller sections but you get more wood, making for an easier assembly, more versatile configuration and a much stronger shed. All in all, the Hartwood Life Time range of sheds are the best overlap sheds we've ever made.

Supported by 30% thicker framing than found on most wooden sheds, this 6x8 shed is constructed using straight-cut 7mm boards that overlap to give flexibility, allowing natural movement of the timber during the changing seasons and aiding rainwater run-off. The pressure treatment that has been applied gives this shed a 25-year anti-rot guarantee, giving you maintenance freedom, preservative treatment is NEVER needed! You'll only ever need one shed with a Life Time Shed!

Rather than the more common OSB (oriented strand board), this garden shed features a solid timber floor, allowing for the storage of heavier items. The roof of this apex shed is made from a hardwearing 8mm solid sheet, finished with a green mineral felt cover for complete weatherproof protection.

This 8x6 shed features a double-Z frame on all doors, for increased strength and to prevent door movement Security is enhanced with hidden hinges and a padlock-ready simple and secure hasp and staple latch to keep valuable items safe (padlock not included). Windowed versions feature shatter-proof PET glazing which is more secure than traditional glass and does not yellow or fade over time.

With its traditional apex roof, smooth-planed barge boards and diamond-shaped finial, this wooden shed will look good in any garden. Standard Delivery

Following your order being placed, we will contact you via SMS or email (both methods are used if supplied) to offer you a delivery date. Simply follow the instructions provided to confirm or change your delivery date. A date will be automatically selected if not confirmed within 2 days of receiving an offer. During busy periods, deliveries may take a little longer than the suggested lead time. We always work hard to keep delays to a minimum.

We will contact you the day before your delivery date by SMS with a three hour delivery time slot. We aim to meet these delivery times, but delays may still occur. You will also receive a phone call from our driver 30 minutes before they arrive.

Pick a Day Delivery

We offer a pick a day delivery service on a wide range of our garden buildings and other products, simply enter your delivery postcode to see all the available delivery dates for your area and choose the one that best suits you. This service is for selected products, and will be highlighted on all qualifying products under the delivery section.

We will contact you the day before your delivery date by SMS with a two hour delivery time slot. We aim to meet these delivery times but delays may still occur. You will also receive a phone call from our driver 30 minutes before they arrive.

Pick a day delivery is subject to availability. Postcode must match your delivery address, otherwise the delivery date may not be available. Pick a Day delivery on orders placed through finance are also not available and are subject to credit checks, which are outside our control. In such cases you will be contacted to rearrange delivery. White Glove Service

Upon arrival, our friendly driver will deliver your order to a place of your choice - as long as it is a reasonable request and it is safe to do so - within your garden. Please ensure they have unrestricted access, which does not involve passing through your home or garage. We would not risk damaging your property whilst delivering a product to an unsafe location. All product packaging will be removed and taken away by the driver.

Installation Service

Installation is available on many of our products for most UK postcodes, and the service varies depending on the product. If home installation is selected, you will be contacted by the installation team to arrange an installation date. This service will normally be booked between 14-21 working days after your order has been delivered. This is to ensure that you have fully inspected the product and are happy to proceed. In busy periods, this lead-time may increase.

Please Note: Additional items may be delivered separately on a different day to your main product. If you have ordered multiple products in one order then you are likely to receive multiple deliveries.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be home for my Delivery?

No, you do not need to be home for your delivery. All we ask is that you let us know via email or signed note to let us know that you will not be present for the delivery. In the note please let us know where a suitable place would be to leave the building. Our delivery drivers are NOT allowed to place your shed in your back gardens even if the gate is left open.

Will I need to help my delivery driver?

Our drivers DO NOT need your help during a delivery. They will not ask for your help and they can manage all the items themselves. We are not insured to cover any customer injuries and therefore we ask you NOT to help or try and help our drivers while they make a delivery.

My house has a restricted access, what do I do?

Our drivers are only contracted to provide kerbside drop offs and deliveries. They will NOT bring any of our orders through your home. A driver may offer to take an order further; for instance a back garden but this is ONLY at their own discretion. If you have any questions about access or you live in a restricted access zone please contact us prior to ordering.

My Order Has Not Been Delivered, What Should I Do?
