Description
The Loxley 4.8m x 4.8m Decking Kit - 28mm offers a cost-efficient way of creating a wooden patio area, to provide that ideal spot for entertaining or purely relaxation in the privacy of your own garden. This upgraded kit includes heavy-duty 28mm thick decking boards, for additional rigidity.
These simple softwood decking kits are formed from wooden components only (customer to supply all screws/fixings etc) compromising 69x44mm supporting joists and 119x28mm profiled decking boards.
The decking boards have a grooved surface (groove count/pattern may vary slightly from imagery) to offer additional grip and drainage, during adverse or damp conditions.
All timbers will have been vacuum pressure treated at the factory, for enhanced resistance to rot and decay.
Generic instructions are included (but not fixings) to illustrate the recommended self-assembly process, joist and board spacing, along with advice on the fixings you should source.
Delivery Information
We aim to deliver all products as soon as possible. Please check individual product pages for delivery lead times and services associated with each product in your order. Below is an outline of the services we offer on Loxley products.
Standard Delivery
Following your order being processed you will receive an SMS text message introducing ourselves with an invitation to visit our dedicated delivery booking website where you can select your own delivery date. Our Customer Care team will attempt to contact any customers that have not booked a delivery date within 24hrs of this SMS being sent to offer further assistance.
You will then receive another SMS text message the working day before your delivery date with a 4 hour time slot to give you a good indication of when your order will arrive.
A final SMS will be sent to you the morning of your delivery with a link to track your delivery in real time. This means you will have a more accurate indication of when your order will arrive whilst being made fully aware of any unexpected delays.
Following delivery a confirmation will be sent to you for your reference as proof of delivery.
Lead times for standard services are stated at the top of the page and may be extended depending on location and circumstances. Upgraded services may also result in a longer lead time.
Installation Service
Installation is available on many of our products for most UK postcodes and the lead time is normally between 14-21 working days after your order has been delivered. This is to ensure that you have fully inspected the product and are happy to proceed. In busy periods this lead-time may increase.
Delivery FAQ
Do I need to be home for my Delivery?
No, you do not need to be home for your delivery. All we ask is that you let us know via email to let us know that you will not be present for the delivery. In the email please let us know where a suitable place would be to leave the building. Our delivery drivers are NOT allowed to place your shed in your back gardens even if the gate is left open.
Will I need to help my delivery driver?
Our drivers DO NOT need your help during a delivery. They will not ask for your help and they can manage all the items themselves. We are not insured to cover any customer injuries and therefore we ask you NOT to help or try and help our drivers while they make a delivery.
My house has a restricted access, what do I do?
Our drivers are only contracted to provide kerbside drop offs and deliveries. They will NOT bring any of our orders through your home. A driver may offer to take an order further; for instance a back garden but this is ONLY at their own discretion. If you have any questions about access or you live in a restricted access zone please contact us prior to ordering.
My Order Has Not Been Delivered, What Should I Do?
We deliver between 8am and 7pm. If your order has not been delivered when expected please click here.
Please Note: Additional items such as the plastic shed bases, security locks and shelving may be delivered separately on a different day to your main product. If you have ordered multiple products in one order then you are likely to receive multiple deliveries.
