Garden Benches

Many types of wooden garden furniture are designed for outdoor use, but the level of protection and maintenance required varies depending on the timber and treatment. Following the manufacturer’s care instructions and keeping furniture clean and well maintained will help protect it throughout the seasons.

Not all garden furniture needs to be fixed down, although securing it may be worth considering in exposed locations or where additional stability is required. Some products are compatible with anchor kits or other fixings, so check the individual product specifications before installation.

Regularly remove dirt, leaves and other debris and check your furniture for signs of wear. Some wooden garden furniture may benefit from periodic treatment with a suitable oil, stain or preservative, while treated timber may require less maintenance. Always check the care instructions for your specific product before applying any treatment.
